Applicability of solenoid valve

1	The fluid in the pipeline must be consistent with the medium calibrated in the selected solenoid valve series and models
2	The temperature of the fluid must be less than the calibration temperature of the selected solenoid valve
3	The allowable liquid viscosity of solenoid valve is generally below 20cst, and it shall be indicated if it is greater than 20cst
4	Working differential pressure: when the maximum differential pressure of the pipeline is less than 0.04MPa, the pilot type (differential pressure) solenoid valve can be selected; The maximum working differential pressure shall be less than the maximum calibration pressure of the solenoid valve. Generally, the solenoid valve works in one direction. Therefore, pay attention to whether there is back differential pressure. If so, install the check valve.
5	When the fluid cleanliness is not high, a filter shall be installed in front of the solenoid valve. Generally, the solenoid valve requires better cleanliness of the medium.
6	Pay attention to the flow diameter and nozzle diameter; Generally, the solenoid valve is only controlled by two switches; If conditions permit, please install bypass pipe to facilitate maintenance; In case of water hammer, the opening and closing time adjustment of solenoid valve shall be customized.
7	Pay attention to the influence of ambient temperature on solenoid valve.
8	The power supply current and consumed power shall be selected according to the output capacity. The power supply voltage is generally allowed to be about ± 10%. It must be noted that the VA value is high during AC starting.

Safety of solenoid valve

1	Generally, the solenoid valve is not waterproof. When conditions do not permit, please select the waterproof type, which can be customized by the factory.
2	The maximum rated nominal pressure of the solenoid valve must exceed the maximum pressure in the pipeline, otherwise the service life will be shortened or other accidents will occur in production.
3	All stainless steel type shall be selected for corrosive liquid, and solenoid valves of other special materials shall be selected for strongly corrosive fluid.
4	Corresponding explosion-proof products must be selected for explosive environment.

Reliability of solenoid valve

1	Solenoid valves are divided into normally closed and normally open. Normally closed type is generally selected, which is opened when powered on and closed when powered off; But when the opening time is very long and the closing time is very short, the normally open type should be selected.
2	For life test, factories generally belong to type test items. To be exact, there is no professional standard for solenoid valves in China, so we should be careful when selecting solenoid valve manufacturers.
3	When the action time is very short and the frequency is high, the direct acting type is generally selected, and the fast series is selected for large caliber.

Economy of solenoid valve

Many solenoid valves can be used in general, but the most economical products should be selected on the basis of meeting the above three points

1	Before installation, refer to the operation manual of the product to see whether it meets your operation requirements.
2	The pipeline shall be flushed before use. If the medium is not clean, a filter shall be installed to prevent impurities from hindering the normal operation of the solenoid valve.
3	The solenoid valve generally works in one direction and cannot be installed reversely. The arrow on the valve is the moving direction of pipeline fluid and must be consistent.
4	The solenoid valve is generally installed with the valve body horizontal and the coil vertical upward. Some products can be installed arbitrarily, but it is best to be vertical when conditions permit, so as to increase the service life.
5	The solenoid valve shall be heated or provided with thermal insulation measures when it works again in frozen places.
6	After the outgoing line (connector) of the solenoid coil is connected, confirm whether it is firm. The contact of the connected electrical components shall not shake. Looseness will cause the solenoid valve to not work.
7	For the solenoid valve to be continuously produced, it is best to adopt bypass to facilitate maintenance and do not affect production.
8	After long-term shutdown, the solenoid valve can be used only after the condensate is discharged;
9	During disassembly and washing, all parts shall be placed in order, and then restored to the original state and installed.
